I'm based just outside London. As you might expect from someone who runs a website devoted to Paris, Paris is a city I love. There was a time when I would travel to Paris by air, because it was the only way to get there from London. Paris is only just over 100 miles away from London, or just an hour by 'plane. The difficult part is getting to and from the airports at each end. It takes a lot of time, it's expensive, and there are restrictions on what and how much you can take with you.


London to Paris Via Eurostar

But since 1994, there has been a tunnel between the UK and France, which goes under the English Channel that separates the two countries. And since then, when I go to Paris from London, I always use that tunnel to go by train - via Eurostar.
