Paris Tours
Les Cars Rouges One way of seeing Paris
is to go on a bus tour. Les Cars Rouges (Red Buses) run a round
tour, which lasts around 2 hours 15 minutes. There are 9 stops
on the tour and the great thing about it is that you can jump
off the bus at any of the 9 stops and get on again later to
continue your tour. You can buy tickets on the bus and they are
valid for two days in a row. The buses run a commentary in 8
different languages. A ticket costs around 24 euros, with
children at half price.
The 9 stops are as follows:
1)Tour Eiffel (Eiffel Tower), at Quai Branly
2)Champ de Mars, at Avenue Joseph Bouvard
This gives access to the Eiffel Tower, Les Invalides and the
Tomb of Napoleon, Ecole Militaire (the Military Academy), and
Musee Rodin (the Rodin Museum)
3)Musee du Louvre, near Pont des Arts.
This gives easy access to the Louvre Museum, Jardin des
Tuileries (the Tuileries Gardens), and the Conciergerie.
4)Notre Dame at 25 rue d'Arcole

(Luxembourg Gardens), the Pantheon and Quartier Latin (the
